Events & Venue Hire
Regular Events at The hive!
Our venue is available for hire for parties and events.
Sundays to Wednesdays our venue is available exclusively for your event (minimum 12 for daytime bookings and 20 for evening events).
Samples of our menu and charges are available on the right hand side of this page, but please speak to us about your individual requirements for your event.
We can cater for special dietary requirements as long as 48 hours’ notice is given.
We waive the venue hire charge for funeral wakes (minimum of 20).
During our normal opening times we can also cater for smaller functions, where there will be no venue hire charge (minimum 10).

Thursday – Saturday small functions can be catered for during our standard opening times with no facility hire charges.
We have sample menus available but these are a guide only and we are happy to discuss individual requirements. Special dietary requirements are catered for (48 hours’ notice required).
Bookings are confirmed when a 20% non-refundable deposit is paid. Events cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full of projected cost and those with less than one weeks’ notice will be charged at 50% of the projected cost.
We can also cater for your event with all our buffets available for collection. Delivery of buffets to your event is dependent on our availability, please discuss with us your requirements.
